Resident and market folks at the lower manya krobo constituency in the eastern region calling on the government, non-governmental organizations and philanthropists to  come to their aid as a matter of urgency to rehabilitate the major road in the constituency and help improve the current appalling sanitation situation at the Agormanya market.

The lower manya krobo constituency is one of the
oldest but deprived constituency in the eastern region in terms of portable drinking water, proper internal road network and infrastructural development.

The internal road network in the constituency is in the worst of its shape making it difficult for motorist to access some communities within the constituency, the main road that runs from somanya to kpong through odumasi is also in a deplorable state as the 28km road stretch is filled with pot holes, making it difficult for drivers to ply the roads, meanwhile, at the Agormanya market which is the largest market in the constituency is bedeviled with numerous of challenges as almost all the market sheds are virtually at point of collapsing, the sanitation situation is nothing to write home about as the center of the market has become a refuse dumping site which poses a lot of health challenges to the market folks.

Some of the market folks that spoke in an interview indicated that the absence of assembly members in the municipal has contributed to the undeveloped state of constituency.

They however called on the government as a matter of urgency to help improve the current situation facing the constituency.
